Overview

Track Management allows you to organize and evaluate your music collection by rating tracks and marking favorites. These actions sync with MusicBee and help personalize your music experience.

Track Rating

What is Rating?

Rating is a scoring system that helps you evaluate tracks in your collection. Use ratings to:

  • Identify Favorites: Give high ratings to tracks you love
  • Create Smart Playlists: Use ratings as criteria for auto-playlists
  • Track Quality: Rate cover versions, remixes, or live performances differently
  • DJ Assistance: Help MusicBee’s DJ feature prioritize tracks to play

How to Rate

  1. Open the Now Playing View
  2. Look for the Rating Display (usually shown as stars ⭐)
  3. Click on a star to set your rating:
    • 1 Star ⭐ - Poor
    • 2 Stars ⭐⭐ - Below Average
    • 3 Stars ⭐⭐⭐ - Average
    • 4 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Good
    • 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Excellent

Quick Rating

Click on different stars to quickly rate the current track without any confirmation.
