Configuration Settings
This section describes all configuration settings available in the Workspace Tasks extension.

Settings are organized into five groups:

| ⚙️ General | Debug logging and task execution metrics |
| 🔍 Task Discovery | Which tasks are found, exclusion patterns, discovery depth, task-type providers, and shell-script detection |
| 🖥️ Display & Interaction | Tree view grouping, click behavior, action bar buttons, task icons, and recent-tasks tracking |
| ▶️ Task Execution | Terminal presentation options, graceful stop delay, and compound-task execution modes |
| 🌐 Environment | Executable paths for build tools and task runners, and tool-specific configuration |
